Privacy policy & terms of use

How we handle visitor data, and the terms for using archive material.

  1. 01

    Browsing without an account

Browsing the archive is entirely free and needs no account or sign-in. We set no cookies to track visitors.

  2. 02

    Visit statistics

For each visit we record the country and city as estimated by our hosting network, the page visited, and the time. We do not store IP addresses. We use a one-way encrypted identifier (SHA-256) that changes daily, so it can't be linked to you or to your visits across days.

  3. 03

    Contribution and contact forms

When you send a form we keep your name, email, links and message only to review them and reply to you. We never share them with anyone.

  4. 04

    Rights to the material

Rights to each item remain with the photographers and organisations named in its record. Non-commercial research and journalistic use is permitted with credit to the original source and 7Palestine. Items embedded from external platforms are subject to those platforms' terms.

  5. 05

    Corrections and removal

If you own an item or have a correction to its details, write to us through the contact page and we'll review the request.
