Our mission and rules
- 01
Source verification
Every item is credited to its original source, with the date and place it was captured.
- 02
News and human angles only
We publish journalistic and human documentation, and leave out anonymous or fabricated material.
- 03
An open archive
We keep the material for researchers, journalists and the public, safe from falsification and deletion.
How an item reaches publication
- 01
Intake
material arrives from a photographer, correspondent or news organisation, or is found by the editorial team.
- 02
Verification
place, time and original source are matched; metadata and signs of manipulation are checked.
- 03
Attribution
the photographer's or agency's name and the original source link are recorded.
- 04
Publication
the item is published with a “Verified” badge once verification is complete, or stays under review.
